The Brew of the Witches
There was once a little witch called Luna who inhabited a secluded hut deep in the forest. While Luna had earned a reputation as a potion expert, there was one in particular that had piqued her interest: the enigmatic potion. Nobody knew for sure what went into this elixir or how to replicate it, but rumours had it that it could fulfil any desire.
Luna looked through all of her magical books and searched for strange plants to find the recipe for the elixir.Luna looked for weeks before she found the last thing she needed: a single drop of starlight.
Luna was thrilled to be able to produce the strange elixir at last, so she collected all the necessary materials and got to work. She carefully mixed the ingredients together, muttering old spells as she did so, until the potion gave off a faint glow.
Luna was worried as she put the elixir into a little bottle. In theory, the potion ought to work, right? What do you think? Was it really worth it?
Luna took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and sipped the potion, wishing with all her heart. She opened her eyes in a gorgeous garden with blooming flowers and flying insects. For some reason, the sight of a baby unicorn grazing nearby made Luna quite happy.
Luna liked the way the strange potion made her feel for the next three days as she explored the magical garden and played with the unicorn.Luna missed her forest home more and more as the days wore on.
Luna went back to her home with a broken heart and looked at the empty bottle that once contained the magic elixir. The potion delivered her wish, but she also learned a valuable lesson: desires aren't always aligned with needs.
After that, Luna continued to make elixirs and cast charms, but she did so with a deeper appreciation for the magic she could use and the blessings she already had.
And what exactly is in that magic elixir? Since often the most powerful magic is the mystery that surrounds it, Luna determined that the formula would be kept hidden.
